Welcome to Santa Barbara Quilting Retreats event with Gwen Marston and Freddy Moran, February 19-23, 2012! Location Crowne Plaza Hotel, 450 Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA

The hotel is lovely and located right on the ocean in Ventura, sleeping rooms are great with wonderful mattresses and amenities, including a fitness center, room service, bar and restaurant and great classroom. Sew all night and enjoy the company of other folks who enjoy the same creative ideas!

Freddy and Gwen will join together to guide you on a path of design and color so that you may create your own original quilt. Freddy concentrates on color and Gwen offers design insights based on common historical formats. They have collaborated on two books “Collaborative Quilting” and “Freddy and Gwen Collaborate Again: Freewheeling Twists on Traditional Quilt Designs”.

During our time together enjoy, prizes, snacks in the classroom, trip to one of local favorite Quilt Stores with a wine and cheese party and special dinner. Freddy and Gwen will share with us their vast experience and wonderful talents and you will return home inspired.
